Misc. Estates: The Briary Smooth Bent Bulldog (1) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-9720

Founded by Skip Elliott and his family in 1974, the Briary is an tobacconist based in Alabama. Although Elliott carves some pipes himself, he also supplements his shop with other pipe maker's works that are crafted under the Briary name. This bent Bulldog is one of the pipes crafted under the Briary name. The broad bowl presents a crisp waistline that protrudes outwards between the conical rim and the supple underside. Furthermore, the waistline begins a shapely arc at the fore, which descends seamlessly into the wide underside that is freckled with unbroken swirls of tightly-packed birdseye. The shank is more defined up top, where it turns upward out of a cheeked transition before tapering horizontally to a multi-colored accent and vulcanite stem. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a stunning smooth finish, which highlights thick streaks of vertical grain on the bowl along with the wide swaths of birdseye throughout the composition.
