Misc. Estates: Unknown Smooth Freehand Tobacco Pipe

A unique Freehand piece crafted by an unknown carver, this pipe displays a look immediately reminiscent of the Danish Fancy style. Complete with a paneled underside, this is a firm pipe, with this panel contributing to a downward flare out of the lifting shank: its face covered in plateau. The rim, too, is covered in plateau, capping its easy, lengthy flare upward, with ample height on offer here that's balanced by the shank and stem's sharp angle and smart downturn. Dressed in a warm, smooth finish, the stummel here showcases handsome grain throughout.
