Misc. Estates: Alpha Allegra Spot Carved Bent Freehand Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-008-9926
Alpha pipes were crafted in the Shalom Pipe Factory in Israel and made exclusively for U.S. distribution. This Freehand is a rather unique piece from the brand, not displaying as much dramatic, free-flowing shaping as many of Alphas Freehand pieces do. Rather, this pipe showcases a far more reserved outline, one that's reminiscent of a neoclassical Billiard, though with a flattened panel at the fore instead of a rounded wall. The impressive substance at the bowl is balanced by a lifting combination of shank and saddle stem, offering a comfortable smoking posture. Dressed in a warm mahogany stain, the stummel is additionally marked with a trench-like spot carving that's mainly centered on the right side.
