Made by HS Studio in China, Roadtown pipes represent the traditionally styled and shaped pieces from the workshop. This "7" Poker from Roadtown is a muscular, Nosewarmer-sized rendition of the classic shape. The cylindrical bowl sits atop a slightly tiled heel, while the short shank emerges from a tight, mid-set transition and flows to a trim hardwood accent and an abbreviated saddle stem. This compact piece is dressed in a dark-hued sandblast, the undulating growth rings providing plenty of textural intrigue for one's fingers to explore.
