Robust and muscular, this "106" Tomato from Viking features a squat, broad bowl with a good bit of supple plumpness about its walls which makes it a pleasure to hold. The shank ebbs out of a rather wide transition and terminates in a handsome metal fitment at the end, paired to a demurely curved tapered stem. The warm, ruddy stain dressing the stummel reveals some handsome grain, and the metal filigree here contrasts it quite nicely.
