South African artisan Charl Goussard cultivates a unique and eclectic style that combines Danish, Italian, and English ideas into something all his own. This Apple is one such example, taking the traditional shape into new territory with a rounded, slightly elongated bowl paired to a bamboo shank fitted with an abbreviated vulcanite stem. The impression is at once familiar, yet different, thanks to Goussard's unique shaping and configuration. The bowl is dressed in a warm chestnut stain and displays fine birdseye and cross grain.
