Based in Holland, Amphora pipes are produced by the Jos. Gubbels company, with this "722" Bulldog displaying Anglo-French shaping sensibilities within a subtly muscular figure. The bowl stands tall with an upright posture, its flaring walls rising from the heel toward a pair of crisp beadlines, where they then taper gradually to the rim. Out back is an arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement, composed of a crisp diamond shank and jet-black saddle stem for a sleek, streamlined profile. Dressed in a smooth chestnut finish, the stummel showcases whorls of birdseye across both flanks.
