A thickly built and impressively hearty Billiard from Jobey, this piece boasts plenty of robust presence in the hand, a wide transition giving way to a stout shank. Said shank is paired to a sleek saddle stem of black vulcanite, the pairing here extending the reach of this pipe to nearly seven inches long. Up front, the bowl stands atop a rounded heel and cants forward, its thick walls taking on an easy taper to the deeply chamfered rim, its plump form offering some dynamism in silhouette. A rich, warm finish dresses the stummel here, revealing a wealth of handsome grain, with dense birdseye showcases throughout the left flank of the bowl.
