Anton & Co. pipes are crafted in Lviv, Ukraine by father-son team Olexander and Ivan Antonenko, where they primarily craft pipes made out of native maplewood: a traditional material within the Ukrainian pipe making sphere that boasts its own heat-resistant and flavor-neutral properties. This Billiard is made of briar, and it displays a strikingly slender shank and stem, their thinness reaching out from a wide transition. The shank is fairly short, and it is paired to a lengthier, tapering stem of black vulcanite: the combination placing further visual emphasis on the bowl. Said bowl stands on a rounded heel and grows tall walls that rise to nearly two inches in height, its cylindrical form looking remarkably Stack-like within this composition. Dressed in a crisp, natural sandblast, the stummel showcases handsome grain, with blasted birdseye on the left flank of the bowl.
