Known for his skillful craftsmanship and carefully rendered designs, Wojtek Pastuch is a talented Polish carver who crafts a wide range of unique shapes, from fairly traditional designs to more eccentric compositions. This Horn is one of Pastuch's more conservative offerings, showcasing his fluency in classic design and affinity for curvaceous silhouettes. Shapewise, this piece boasts a consistent taper, the entire stummel narrowing from the wide rim to the shank end. From there, a white accent adorns the junction and marks the start of a demurely curved saddle stem of jet-black vulcanite, continuing the shape's implied trajectory. Dressed in a deep ruby stain, the stummel features impeccable birdseye, flanked by fine cross grain that runs the length of this pipe's smooth arc.
