Misc. Estates: John Middleton Mountaineer Smooth Apple Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-10728

The John Middleton company was founded in 1856 and became widely renowned for their tobacco blends. Based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, John Middleton also sold a line of pipes bearing their name in a variety of finishes and made by a number of companies across the world. This Apple is a handsome pipe, looking like a cross between its namesake shape and the Pot, thanks to its impressive breadth and squatness. The heel is muscular and supports the bowl's thick walls as they cant forward and take on a slight, arcing taper to the rim. This hearty bowl is nicely balanced by a sleek shank and saddle stem, and the entire stummel is covered in a warm, rich mahogany stain.
