Misc. Estates: Unknown Smooth Brandy Tobacco Pipe

This Brandy from an unknown craftsman is a classic example of the shape-chart standard. The gradually tapering shank-and-stem combination is connected by a metallic accent band at the junction, immediately drawing the eye to the pipe's midsection. Up front, the walls of the bowl rise from a broad heel and taper inward to a flat rim, resembling the Brandy's namesake. The inky vulcanite stem pairs well to the hazelnut-stained stummel where handsome grain is seen throughout.
