This Rhodesian from Briarville pays homage to the shape-chart standard while adding textural and colorful intrigue. Shape-wise, a traditionally inclined bowl is paired to a softly bent shank and saddle stem out back, the latter easily clenched between the teeth. The stummel is dressed in an inky rustication, save for the shank base and above the ridgeline, where an auburn-stained smooth finish highlights impressive cross grain and birdseye.
