Misc. Estates: Unknown Sandblasted Bent Apple (W) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-10918

A plump bent Apple made by an unknown carver, this pipe features a fluid, yet subtly curved silhouette that affords it an elegant character. The shank is rather short, and it lifts out of a wide transition to meet a cumberland junction band before pairing to a sleekly tapering and demurely arced stem of black vulcanite. This flowing combination naturally supports the heel as it rounds out at the fore, with all of this roundness reflected in the walls' pert rotundity: their thickness nicely insulating the chamber. Dressed in a crisp, inky sandblast, the stummel showcases handsome grain, with blasted birdseye on the flanks of the bowl and rippling growth rings through the midsection.
