Misc. Estates: Unknown Smooth Pot (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Weighing in at a touch over an ounce, this smooth Pot of unknown origin is a lightweight, classic rendition of the traditional shape, the pipe's airy mass making for easy jaw clenching. Like the typical, Anglo-French-style pot, the diameter of this Pot's bowl approximates its height. Furthermore, the stem is about the same length as the stummel. What makes this particular pot a little bit different is that the shank is a touch on the longer side, thus accentuating the bowl's squat posture. The arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement, especially with the stem's slick taper, lends the pipe a modicum of aerodynamicism. The smooth stummel wears a chestnut stain to show off fetching grain throughout.
