Misc. Estates: Unknown Smooth Apple (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

This Apple of unknown origin is an attractive example of the classic shape offered at an affordable price point. The bowl perches pert and round at the fore of the pipe, its plump silhouette accentuated by the curved streak of cross grain coming from the shank end and arching around the bowl's walls to return again to the back of the shank. With its modest chamber and lightweight sensibilities, the pipe is a great choice for a quick, hands-free smoke. A rich golden brown stain to the stummel brings gorgeous grain into sharp definition, especially along the bowl's left flank, where fine filaments of birdseye form nested tangles across its surface.
