Turkish Estates: CAO/Bekler Meerschaum Woman with Disturbing Expression and Grapes in her Hair (with Case)

Product Number: 004-653-0017

The grapes and leaves motif of this woman's headress is one normally seen being worn by Bacchus a.k.a. Dionysus, the ancient god of wine and ritual madness. Judging by her expression, I fear he may have met his match when it comes to the latter. Perhaps Edgar Allen Poe could have described it, but I'm at a loss for words.
