To me, the carved visage of this CAO meerschaum is that of a Musketeer, what with his flowing, feather-bedecked hat, curling mustache, and serious, unamused expression. While he is not obviously armed with the appropriate sword, the over nine-inch length of this pipe does evoke a reaching, piercing aesthetic, this length accentuated by a stylized stretch of shank. However he strikes your fancy, no one can deny there is a plethora of detail waiting to accumulate the uniqueness and color of patination as this fellow is smoked. Unsmoked.
