Turkish Estates: Unknown Meerscham Man with Hat (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

Paired to an acrobatic stretch of sunny tapered acrylic, this hatted man stares forth from the fore of this meerschaum piece with a severe expression, mouth slightly agape with displeasure. His jaunty headwear betrays this a bit, however, with its charming shape and wrapping feather, full of textural detail which extends to the man's beard and hair. Made by an unknown maker, this piece has started to accrue some warm patination, though still has quite a way to go, accumulating unique color as it is smoked.
