Turkish Estates: Unknown Meerschaum Bearded Roman Tobacco Pipe

This meerschaum depicts a Roman looking down his patrician nose at something or someone that perturbs him. Perhaps he's surrounded by the proletariat at the Colosseum and think's he's above all that. At any rate, there's plenty of carved detail to be impressed by here and the stummel has been stained a light tan to emulate the look of patina. It's topped by an acrylic stem of similar tones for a harmonious composition.
