Turkish Estates: IMP Meerschaum Lattice Freehand (with Case) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

This wild Freehand from IMP is an expressive variation of the Volcano shape. Featuring a domed rim demarcated by a single beadline, the bowl's walls flare out to create a strong asymmetrical ridgeline just above the paneled heel that allows the pipe to sit sturdily upright. The rear side of the stummel displays an extended transition to an upturned, flaring, paneled shank fitted with a bent acrylic saddle stem. Carved with an intricate lattice pattern, this piece shows IMP's expert shaping and carving skills to quite impressive effect. Over time, the solid block meerschaum stummel will darken and patinate as it's smoked, growing in beauty and reflecting the smoking habits of its owner. Unsmoked.
