American Estates: Kaywoodie Super Grain Billiard (51S) (1938-1950s)

Product Number: 004-009-5553

A simple, smart classic shape, this Kaywoodie has a timeless appeal, as far as design goes. The graining is pretty good as well, a cross-cut orientation with a light freckling of birdseye on the right, quite a bit more along the left, and bands of flame down the middle. On top of that, the ball at the end of the stinger is, well, still at the end of the stinger - it's common for these to have been (deliberately) broken off on older Kaywoodies.
