American Estates: Tracy Mincer Rusticated Bent Pot
Product Number: 004-009-5716
In Tracy Mincer your seeing the extended evolution of Custom-Bilt, the styles of the shapes being very similar, as seen in the characteristic rustication and carving technique. Both brands were started by the same individual (Mincer), hence the resemblance, and both were intended to be viewed solely as smoking instruments, and even somewhat of a "long term" disposable item. In recent years they've become a bit of a collector's item, something Mr. Mincer maybe would have been shocked to find out, but pipe enthusiast can't seem to resist the quaint earnestness found in these 20th century treasures of Americana.
