American Estates: Elliot Nachwalter The Brair Workshop Smooth Rhodesian (2)
Product Number: 004-009-5792
Though he's taken more than one prolonged sabbatical, New Englander Elliot Nachwalter has been making pipes long enough that he's not an uncommon find for us when it comes to the estate market. His work isn't fancy - no sterling silver mounts or exotic accents - but it is solid and clean in design, fit, and finish. Here we find an interesting interpretation of the Rhodesian, sporting a long, slim, Lovat-like shank, balanced out by full and rounded bowl.
