American Estates: Elliot Nachwalter The Briar Workshop Smooth Bent Brandy (3)
Product Number: 004-009-5794
Between the dark, contrasty stain, the bowl's shapely derriere, and the serpentine manner the shank transitions out and up from the bowl, at first glance I would have bet this pipe came out of Denmark. But no, lo and behold the talent of Elliot Nachwalter as he defies pinpointing and pigeonholing. But the pipe's country of origin is here nearly immaterial. What's important is that this is a helluva good looking pipe, it's a helluva lot of fun to have in the hand, and I'll wager it's a helluva good smoke. Helluva deal at $165 too.
