American Estates: Trever Talbert Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Bamboo (44) (2002-2009)
Product Number: 004-009-10870
Trever Talbert enjoys uniqueness. This sprawling take on the Dublin shape fits the bill, though not quite as much as some other, more overtly weird numbers we've seen from the carver. What's mainly different about it in this context is that it was made during the American carver's time spent in France, and it does sport some appropriately French shaping cues, with its trim, forward-canted bowl and slender stretch of shank. Those two knuckles of honey-blonde bamboo and deep green brindle patterned vulcanite stem don't hurt either. Only some minor rim darkening.- Daniel Bumgardner
