The characteristically plump Author shape is just plain charming of form, with many pipesmokers across the community dubbing it a favorite in their own rotations. It's fairly easy to see why, with its traditionally generous chamber and substantial feel in hand, often lending it the distinction of the "ultimate comfort pipe." This iteration from BriarWorks, the "C101," is here found in a warm crimson sandblast, lending the piece a good deal of texture without sacrificing those neatly-curved lines.
