American Estates: Brad Pohlmann Sandblasted Tomato (2018)
Product Number: 004-009-11625
With a Sixten-ish juxtaposition of compressed, oval-shaped shank and a plump, uprightness about the bowl, this Tomato from Brad Pohlmann is quite the lively, comforting smoker. And like the Danish master's easily-flowing compositions, this fellow's bowl shows a soft sense of taper from rim to heel, guiding the eye to the lively trail of shank and stem out back. Finished in a warm, affable contrast sandblast, it shows a lively spread of ring-grain and blasted birdseye alike. Only some light rim darkening and unevenness to the chamber from reaming; otherwise condition is good.- Daniel Bumgardner
