American Estates: Brad Pohlmann Smooth Freehand Bent Dublin Sitter
Product Number: 004-009-11608
I've seen a few pieces of a similarly playful, sure-sitting disposition from Brad Pohlmann, and this bent Dublin is well on the slimmer, more compact end, to my eye. It's also well on the organically asymmetric end, with a diagonally-oriented oval-shaped bowl when viewed from above, and one that boasts a plethora of birdseye and plateau about its softly inflated surface. The bowl boasts a well-defined, tightly-flared look in profile, resulting in a rather generously forward-inclined sense of gesture. The gently upward-curling shank and rich cumberland stem make for a fine complement to it all, too.
