American Estates: Tom Cooke Smooth Horn Sitter Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-12433
That isn't a separate pipe stand under the heel; it's part of the pipe. Taking the heel spur to a new level, retired pipemaker Tom Cooke has here fashioned a sturdy base as part of the heel, transforming this serpentine, curved piece into a confident sitter. Grain is excellent, especially on the left side, while the right starts to angle toward birdseye. For those who like a gently curved pipe and also like it to sit, this piece checks the boxes.
