American Estates: Nathan Armentrout Sandblasted Dublin with Box Elder Burl
Product Number: 004-009-12939
Based out of Lancaster, California, Nathan Armentrout initially pursued pipe making as a hobby but quickly fell in love with the craft. After purchasing a few pipes kits, Armentrout's fascination with pipes grew and he invested in the proper tools necessary to realize his creative vision. Here, the American carver has fashioned a bold, bowl-centric Dublin, with the middle of the shank cinched before flaring out at either end. The tall bowl flares from its rounded heel up toward the broad, slightly concave rim and is finished in a light-depth sandblast. It's dressed in a warm, chocolate hue with the base of the saddle stem accented by a band of box elder burl.- Jeffery Sitts
