American Estates: Yeti Smooth Bent Dublin Sitter (34)

Product Number: 004-009-12953

An early piece from Micah "Yeti" Cryder, this bent Dublin was the 34th pipe crafted by the American artisan and reflects his penchant for compact, bent pieces which has become a signature within his portfolio. This offering calls to mind a Cherrywood in profile, the bowl positioned at a strong forward cant while the shank and stem sinuously curl behind it. Said bowl is able to sit stably thanks to its flattened base and subtly flares up toward the rounded rim, with an abundance of flame grain wrapping around the bowl's surface. The low-set, pinched transition makes the sweeping shank even more impressive before culminating in a high-kicking, gracefully downturned saddle stem. Though it's an example of his early work, this piece deftly demonstrates Micah's skill as an artisan pipe maker.
