American Estates: Steve Weiner Rusticated Bent Dublin (NASPC) (2000)
Product Number: 004-009-15865
Before his unfortunate passing in 2002, Steve Weiner was a student of the renowned Michael Butera. Though he is no longer with us, Steve's pieces continue his legacy of quality craftsmanship. Offered here is a hearty, muscular bent Dublin that was crafted 20 years ago for the North American Society of Pipe Collectors (NASPC). It's a remarkable piece, the trumpeting bowl flaring from its robust heel up toward the wide, flat rim. The rustication is incredibly rugged and calls to mind the style seen on Italian pipes. If you've never had an opportunity to experience Steve's work, or are already a fan, this one shouldn't be missed.- Jeffery Sitts
