American Estates: Darius Christian (GRC) Smooth Acorn (C) (4) (GRC/04) (2004)

Product Number: 004-009-15983

Darius Christian originally began carving pipes as a hobby in 1999 after purchasing a Pimo pipe kit and has learned from fellow American artisans such as Trever Talbert and J.M. Boswell. Darius fashioned pipes under the GRC name, the initials representing his wife's full name and it's believed that he retired from pipe making a few years ago. It's a shame since he was a talented pipe maker as evidenced by this Acorn he crafted back in 2004. It's a lithe, elegant rendition, with the stummel's light stain illuminating the briar's excellent grain and accented by a pale ferrule before leading to the gracefully bent stem. It was well-cared for over the years and will be an attractive addition to any collection.
