The Almond is a signature shape of Adam Davidson's that immediately brings to mind its namesake. Marked by a crisply pointed heel, a vertically pinched nature, and a hard ridgeline running through the center, down the fore, and along the underside, this pipe bears a lens-shaped rim when viewed from an aerial perspective. Such a vantage point also reveals a slender, streamlined form, contrasting the broad proportions evident in profile. Beautiful cross grain sweeps through the shank and up the bowl, dressed in a stain that furthers the design's nutty nature. Dynamic, angular, and wonderfully individual, this is a shape that readily reveals Adam's creative mind, further elevated by a mammoth accent.
