Adam Remington burst onto the pipe scene around 2010 with remarkable designs and sophisticated engineering, and even as enthusiasts were in wonder over the quality of his pipes, he disappeared from pipe making. Here we have one of his Billiards, a chubby version with a well-rounded bowl and an oversized shank, the transition riding halfway up the bowl. A saddle stem provides negative space, sending the attention forward to the bowl with its rounded rim, cross-grain orientation, and organic, bulbous disposition.
