American Estates: J.M. Boswell Smooth Bent Pot (2004) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-009-16891
A bit more conservatively sized than some of J.M. Boswell's more palm-filling pieces, this bent Pot is a fine Sitter thanks to a flattened heel. The rounded bowl remains fairly robust, with thick walls and a good bit of chamber depth and actually slants a touch toward the stem. It's paired to a crisply lined diamond shank, with a downturned mouthpiece offering a comfortable clenching posture. This piece is wearing a warm auburn stain that does well to bring out the natural grain patterns of the briar. Unsmoked.-Angela Robertson
