American Estates: J.M. Boswell Smooth Bent Apple (2019) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-17660
This is quite an interesting imagining of the bent Apple from J.M. Boswell, as it not only presents with a handy, Nosewarmer length, but a thoroughly geometrical bowl. Despite this being a smaller sort of briar than we're used to from the American carver, this is still a very robust piece, with a thickness about its build that is present in every element of its construction, from the bowl to the stem. Said bowl showcases a build which is replete with firm outcroppings and ridges, building to a rim that is both softly inflated and undulates as it travels. The shank is sharply upturned, meeting a stylish dark amber saddle stem that's curved for comfortable smoking and whose hues match well the deep walnut stain of the stummel.
