American Estates: Thomas James Smooth Bent Dublin (19) (11) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-17626

Pennsylvania-based artisan Thomas James began carving pipes in 2006, his shaping style ranging from organically inspired designs and eclectic Freehands to more classic forms like this hearty, bent Dublin. Its lifting heel contributes to a dynamic forward incline, while its softly undulating rim boasts a patch of natural plateau as a flourishing detail. Broad and robust, the bowl is affixed to a comparatively more slender, arcing shank and stem, putting the focal point up front. It's dressed in a warm auburn stain that showcases beautiful birdseye dotting the rim and heel with wispy tendrils of flame grain seen on either flank.
