American Estates: Ligne Bretagne Rusticated Apple (1) (2021) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-18305
Ligne Bretagne is a project of Trever Talbert's, essentially a brand made up of pipes he's fashioned from old, unfinished stummels that were originally turned in France some time following WWII. The results are the classic sorts of shapes you would expect from a French factory of that time, but with a much greater degree of individual attention paid to each pipe. This straight Apple features a dark, inky stain that's here paired to a wire-style rustication that offers plenty of texture in the hand, while a trim metal band at the shank end lends a touch of contrast.
