American Estates: Michael Butera Classic Grain Pot (M) (1987) (Replacement Tenon) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-33990

Regarded by many as America's greatest pipe maker, Mike Butera maintained an impressive reputation throughout his career, winning many awards for his fine work. This classically inclined Pot was made in 1987 and boasts clean, crisp shaping and excellent materials. The stout bowl features straight walls and a strong heel paired to a slim round shank and vulcanite saddle stem fitted with a replacement tenon. The briar itself is just as impressive as the work that went into, dressed in a rich mahogany stain that highlights impressive birdseye and flame grain around the bowl and shank. This is an excellent example of Butera's work and will surely interest collectors of American artisan pipes.
