American Estates: BriarWorks Neptune Dark Smooth Reverse Calabash Rhodesian (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

The Neptune line from BriarWorks is now discontinued, though at the time of its production offered both classic BriarWorks shapes and some profiles that were quite unique, such as this reverse Calabash Rhodesian. At under four and a half inches long, this Nosewarmer is more than apt for pocket carry, easy travel, or even clenching thanks to its fairly light weight. The shank is extremely muscular, pushing out from a wide transition and engulfing the base of a white saddle stem for a striking silhouette that holds within it a condensation chamber for a cooler, drier smoking experience. The bowl here is rather petite, flaring out gently from a round heel to a pair of beadlines marking the high-set waist and taper to the chamfered rim. Dressed in a warm auburn-chestnut stain, this pipe showcases stunning birdseye on either flank, but especially on the right.
