American Estates: Bruce Weaver Sandblasted Acorn with Ebony (2010) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-18538

A handsome Acorn from the late Bruce Weaver, this piece is an eye-catching bit of craftsmanship. It features a pert bowl that flares from its drooping, pointed heel to its broad, rounded rim. The shank mirrors the bowl's expansion and broadens outward from the low-set transition to a wide face, before giving way to a slender saddle stem. The mouthpiece's gentle downturn promotes a comfortable smoking posture and continues the shank's implied trajectory. A crisp, dark sandblast dresses the stummel and coaxes out gorgeous waves of growth rings across the bowl's surface, while an accent of ebony wood adorns the shank end and provides a touch of colorful vibrancy to the overall form.
