American Estates: Ehrlich Special Grain Smooth Bulldog Tobacco Pipe

We've seen a number of Bulldog renditions from Ehrlich in our time, and this tall, Anglo-French-style design is the most well-represented of those made for the American tobacco store-based marque. Immediately reminiscent of those classic renderings from timeless marques, this pipe is possessed of a subtle taper to its diamond-shaped shank and stem from the transition to the base, the combination working to add a bit of sleekness to the otherwise muscular composition. The bowl is rounded by a pair of beadlines just before its taper to the rim, as is iconic to the shape, and it sits on a firm heel, the briar displaying some handsome grain beneath its warm stain.
