Crafted by Walt Cannoy, Cardinal House pipes offer the American carver's sophisticated shaping and quality engineering at a more accessible price point. Here, Cannoy presents a fetching rendition of the Billiard shape. It features a tall, Stack-like bowl with a chamber over two inches deep, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. A protracted shank-and-stem arrangement balances out the bowl's towering height, and keeps the shape looking rather sleek in profile. The trim shank is extended by three knuckles of pale bamboo, whose warm complexion immediately brightens the pipe's otherwise traditional color palette. An auburn finish dresses the stummel and highlights a handsome mixture of birdseye and cross grain across the bowl. Unsmoked.
