American Estates: C. Glez Sandblasted Freehand with Bamboo (120) (16) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-19611
This organic Freehand from C. Glez is a handsome design that's equal parts structural and sculptural. Defined by its hard lines, subtle panels, and rigid posture, this piece sees a stout, angular bowl set to a tapering shank, a bamboo extension, and a playful saddle stem. The bowl's unique, almost triangular appearance immediately captures the eye, its firm ridgelines naturally framing the form's stout walls. While at the rear, the gradually reducing shank gives way to two knuckles of vibrant bamboo, whose complexion immediately livens the form's otherwise dark color palette. Dressed in a crisp sandblast, the stummel offers a wealth of engaging texture and showcases some handsome grain all around.--Davin Hylton
