Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-19724
The American Smoking Pipe Company was a collaborative project between Mark Tinsky and Curt Rollar, born out of their longtime friendship, their interest in pipes, and a bicycle trip the pair went on across Europe, which is when they hatched the idea. Tinsky and Rollar both crafted pipes under the ASPC name, with the intended purpose of offering high-quality, artisan-made pieces at an accessible price point. Crafted by Curt Rollar, this bent Bulldog showcases the muscular shaping style and healthy proportions the ASPC tended to favor. It features a large, palm-filling bowl that stands at the fore of an upturned diamond shank and a steeply curved saddle stem. As one might expect for a pipe of this size, the bowl houses a capacious chamber within its thick-walled frame, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. The bowl's beadlines demarcate the tapered rim from the rest of the stummel, while the shank's firm, structural lines reinforce the shape's brawny construction. Dressed in auburn smooth finish, the stummel displays some striking grain across the bowl and shank.
