American Estates: Sam Learned Smooth Panel (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-19923

Originally a patent lawyer, Sam Learned began crafting pipes after his retirement in 1996, receiving instruction from the likes of Jim Margroum and Ed Burak. This Panel is a fine example of Learned's unique shaping style, featuring a four-walled bowl that flares widely at the fore, creating a distinct, angular silhouette, further reinforced by a firm heel and tapered shank-and-stem combination. Dressed in a rich natural finish, the stummel boasts fine flame grain around the bowl, with fine birdseye at the rim.
