American Estates: Cardinal House Langford Smooth Bent Dublin Sitter (A20) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-009-20184

Cardinal House pipes are made by Walt Cannoy, a respected artisan whose experience in the craft goes back to the 1990s. Each of Cannoy's pipes are completely hand made and hand finished, and the Cardinal House line was specifically created to offer all of these features in a series that included artful shaping at a reasonable price. This bent Dublin is an able sitter from the American carver, and presents with a Cherrywood-like posture that sets the shank above the flattened heel. From here the shank lifts and meets a demurely curved saddle stem of jet-black vulcanite, offering comfortable smoking while the sure-sitting heel lends it ample potential as a desk pipe. The bowl here rises to over two inches in height and holds a chamber of striking depth, its walls taking on a floral flare as they rise to a rim crowned with organic plateau. A deep, warm stain dresses the stummel, unveiling dense flame grain wrapping around the bowl and running through the flanks of the shank.
