American Estates: Mark Tinsky Golden Sandblasted Prince (2017) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-009-39111
Mark Tinsky was introduced to pipes by his friend Curt Rollar, and in 1978 they founded American Smoking Pipe Co. They focused on crafting classic pipe shapes with quality materials and became one of the most successful American workshops. Eventually, Tinsky and Rollar went their separate ways, and Tinsky was able to pursue his personal aesthetic to its fullest. Tinksy still has an affinity for crafting classic shapes, but he adds his own unique twists, such as his wide variety of organic and metallic accents. Furthermore, Tinsky utilizes sandblasts, rustications, and smooth finishes on his pipes, and occasionally combines them for a unique look. This Prince by Mark Tinsky is a classic rendition of the shape, pairing a plump bowl to a willowy shank and demurely bent stem. Dressed here in Tinksy's Golden sandblast, the stummel reveals a bevy of rugged texture for one's fingers to explore.
